Outstanding Student Presentation Award

About

The goal of AGU’s Outstanding Student Presentation Awards (OSPAs) are to promote, recognize and reward undergraduate, Masters and PhD students for quality research in the geophysical sciences, as well as to provide students with valuable feedback about presentation style and scientific research. It is a great honor for young scientists at the beginning of their careers and the process relies entirely on volunteer judges recruited from conference attendees. Of those students who choose to be judged, typically the top 3-5% are awarded an OSPA for their presentation in VGP sessions at the Fall Meeting.
