It is my pleasure to inform the Section that Dr. Georgia (Gia) Destouni from the University of Stockholm has been selected by the AGU to serve as the next Editor-in- Chief of Water Resources Research. Gia brings a tremendous background across the breadth of hydrologic domains to the position, and I look forward to her leadership and stewardship of the journal.
I also want to take this opportunity to formally thank Martyn Clark, outgoing EIC of Water Resources Research. It has been a pleasure to work with Martyn during his term, and he and his team have done an outstanding job in moving WRR forward and upward in many ways.
