Third of the 2025 quarterly seminars organized by the ECSPrecip subcommittee is dedicated to the theme “Past, Present, and Future Precipitation”. This webinar will highlight how precipitation science is advancing across temporal scales—from understanding past climate variability, to addressing present-day observational challenges, and to anticipating future extremes under climate change. On September 24 at 12 UTC (5 AM PDT - 6 AM MDT - 7 AM CDT - 8 AM EDT) Dr. Chetankumar Jalihal (Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad), Dr. Guilia Panegrossi (National Research Council of Italy - Institute of Atmospheric Sciences and Climate) and Dr. Nadav Peleg (University of Lausanne) will provide a comprehensive view of their perspectives.
