A trans-disciplinary and community-driven database to unravel subduction zone initiation'
Keely O'Farrell will provide an overview over subduction zone initiation (SZI)
and its
study involving geologic evidence, plate reconstructions, seismic
tomography, and geodynamic modelling. Dr. O'Farrell will introduce our
brand-new trans-disciplinary, community-driven SZI database and timely
online platform, how to use it, and what we already learned from it.
