Ongoing Activities and Opportunities

The College of Fellows are working with various programs and departments within AGU to provide opportunities for AGU Fellows to apply the knowledge and skills they have developed throughout their careers to directly work on projects or programs that provide valuable support and benefits to the Earth and Space Sciences community.

Participate in the College of Fellows Mentoring Network
An initiative of the AGU College of Fellows, this network helps broaden opportunities for scientists starting their careers in the Earth and space sciences. Open to those transitioning into the professional arena from a doctoral program or postdoc, this program goes beyond traditional mentoring by forming virtual networks of senior and early career scientists who meet regularly over the course of ~1 year. Interested in serving as a Mentor? We will begin accepting applications for the 2027 cycle in the Fall of 2026.

Tell Your Story!
Perspectives of Earth and Space Scientists is an open access journal providing a collection of articles, essays, commentaries, memorials, debates, and insights by those working in the Earth and space sciences. Contributions reflect on important scientific discoveries, advances, and events in the Earth and space sciences.
