Ongoing Activities and Opportunities

The College of Fellows are working with various programs and departments within AGU to provide opportunities for AGU Fellows to apply the knowledge and skills they have developed throughout their careers to directly work on projects or programs that provide valuable support and benefits to the Earth and Space Science community.

Here is a list of current volunteer opportunities where Fellows can get involved:

Connect with AGU College of Fellows
The AGU College of Fellows seeks to expand its portfolio of activities to align with AGU's strategic plan. If you are interested in volunteering to serve on one of the College of Fellows subcommittees or if you have ideas about ways in which the College of Fellows can serve AGU and the broader scientific community, please complete this brief survey: https://forms.office.com/r/YXuzfz7wn8

College of Fellows Mentoring Network
The AGU College of Fellows Mentoring Network is an initiative of the College of Fellows that goes beyond traditional mentoring by creating groups, or small networks, that include senior scientist mentors and peer mentors, which meet virtually once per month over the course of a year. Each network is composed of two senior scientists and six early career scientists. The network helps broaden opportunities and limit the obstacles for early career scientists just starting out professionally in the Earth and space sciences. If you are interested in serving as a mentor or applying to be a mentee, please visit the website at https://www.agu.org/Learn-and-Develop/Learn/Mentoring-Programs/MentoringNetwork
