Biogeosciences Quarterly Town Hall Series: Earth Science Careers Beyond the University

The second town hall in the Biogeosciences Quarterly Town Hall series is a cross-sector panel discussion focused on career paths for individuals outside of academic careers. Speakers will discuss what their jobs are like, how they got into their positions, and how AGU membership intersects with their career decisions.

Caregiver Grant Applications Are Open!

The application for the Caregiver Grant for the AGU Annual Meeting is now open! 

Applications will be open from July – 15 September 2024 and awardees will be notified in mid-October.

This award is open to all virtual and in-person attendees with caregiving responsibilities. A grant of  $500 will be disbursed to contribute towards caregiving costs associated with attending the AGU Annual Meeting. Eligible expenses include but are not limited to travel for caregiving partners, children, and/or other caregivers, special housing accommodations and dependent care including tutoring, daycare, etc. In-person attendees are encouraged to participate in the Biogeosciences Section-wide events at the AGU Annual Meeting.
