Last chance to apply to the 2026 Near-Surface Geophysics Community Input Workshop, being held in Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 25 & 26 - June 22 application deadline.
This in-person workshop will bring the near-surface geophysics community together to shape future science support and collaboration.
The NGS workshop is sponsored by the NSF National Geophysical Facility (NSF NGF, operated by EarthScope) and planned jointly by multiple organizations involved in near-surface geophysics (NSF NGF, CTEMPs, OpenTopography, NHERI, CUAHSI, and AGU Near-surface Geophysics Section). The input workshop will build on previous efforts to unify the community and determine priorities.
What to Know

Workshop attendance will be determined by application. Attendees must be US citizens, US residents, or at a US-based institution. The target audience is college/university faculty and other professionals involved in Earth and environmental science and engineering. Late-stage PhD students will also be considered.

All accepted attendees are eligible for travel support in the form of hotel accommodations and a plane flight.
