Are you an AGU Honoree committed to advancing science and connection? Consider self-nominating to serve as a lecturer in the AGU College of Fellows Distinguished Lecture Series (DLS) for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The DLS provides a platform for exceptional Earth and space scientists to engage global audiences through virtual lectures and interactive Q&A sessions with students. Lectures address key scientific challenges and societal impact while remaining accessible to a broad audience.
What's new this year?
- Expanded eligibility: In addition to AGU Fellows, Union Medal, Award, and Prize recipients and Section Award and Lecture honorees are now eligible to serve as lecturers.
- Self-nominations accepted: Eligible individuals can now nominate themselves directly.
Eligibility:
Nominees must be one of the following:
• An AGU Union Medal, Award, or Prize recipient
• An AGU Fellow
• A Section Award or Lecture recipient
AND
• An active AGU member
Deadline: All nominations must be submitted by 12 May 2025
