K-12 STEM Education and Workforce Development in Rural Areas

Efforts to expand access to quality STEM education and workforce development opportunities often neglect rural communities. This National Academies consensus study report lays the groundwork for mitigating this issue by addressing barriers to enhancing STEM learning, and offers recommendations to educational agencies at all levels of government. Read this press release about the report for a full summary!
