    As part of my ongoing project, Geoscientists' Voices (supported by the AGU Voices for Science program), I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Dr. Umberto Fracassi, a Senior Researcher at the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) in Rome, Italy. With nearly two decades of technical expertise mapping active fault systems and curating Italy's Database of Individual Seismogenic Sources (DISS), Umberto is a leading specialist bridging the gap between seismic data, multi-hazard risk, and global climate policy.
