    Hey everyone!

We're organizing a session at AGU 2025: B015 – Anthropocene Changes in Tropical Forests - and we'd love to see your work included!

This session explores how these changes are impacting forest structure and function, with a focus on water, carbon, and energy dynamics. We welcome research using remote sensing, in situ data, and modeling approaches, from the Amazon to the Congo Basin and Southeast Asia.

     Submit your abstract here:

    Conveners:

Gabriel de Oliveira (University of South Alabama / Dauphin Island Sea Lab)
    Zoe Pierrat (JPL/NASA/Caltech)
    Qianlai Zhuang (Purdue University)
    Amanda Hoffman-Hall (Eckerd College)
Anderson Ruhoff (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil)
    Noemi Vergopolan (Rice University)
Student/Early Career Convener: Erin Koster (University of South Alabama)

We're also planning a casual meetup during the week - probably at a bar  - to relax, share ideas, and connect with fellow presenters outside the conference.

    See you in New Orleans!
