I am a graduate of Penn State University’s College of Earth and Mineral Sciences with a B.S. in Geosciences. I am currently a graduate student in Michigan State University’s Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, and my research interests include STEM education and increasing diversity in STEM. My current research focuses on investigating college first-years' perceptions of various occupations through drawings and applying that information to major-specific and career advising in higher education. After graduation, I intend to pursue a career in student affairs, preferably as an academic advisor or career counselor.
