Dr. Donna Charlevoix is the Vice President of Engagement for EarthScope Consortium, a non-profit that operates two facilities on behalf of the National Science Foundation. The portfolio of work under her purview includes technical training for graduate students and researchers, curriculum development for K12 and higher education, internship programs for undergraduate and community college students, diversity and inclusion programming, and all aspects of organizational communication and outreach. She worked for over a decade in academia as faculty, teaching and researching geosciences/geophysics and how students learn. She spent the past 15 years working for nonprofits that support federally-funded science facilities including NSF, NASA and USGS. She is actively involved in science education and is a Fellow of the American Meteorological Society and a former Director for the Council on Undergraduate Research. She is co-author of a university science textbook.
