Greg Hirth is the 2017 Birch Lecturer
Greg Hirth (Brown University) will be the 2017 Birch Lecturer, speaking on “Lithospheric Strength and Stress State: Persistent Challenges and New Directions in Geodynamics”. The lecture will take place on Wednesday, December 13, at 4 pm in New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, La Nouvelle C. The Birch Lecture is given annually at the Fall Meeting to highlight cutting-edge research in Tectonophysics.
