Welcome to the GeoHealth section of AGU! As you may know, GeoHealth is the first new AGU section in 15 years and now has more than 630 members! We are excited to have you as part of this rapidly evolving transdisciplinary section, focusing on the critical interface between the environment and human health. The section is also accompanied by the new GeoHealth journal. Please check out the journal update below and be sure to consider GeoHealth for your next submission.
We have spent the past 9 months getting the section organized, setting up our website, developing plans for the future, and preparing for our first Fall Meeting, in Washington, D. C., this December. For Fall Meeting 2018, as discussed below, we have a number of exciting GeoHealth sessions and activities for you to explore the science, engage your colleagues, and meet the GeoHealth team.
