Early Career Events
- Monday Dec. 9th from 14:00-15:30: USAPECS Navigating Your Early Career Panel (Moscone South - Career Center Theatre)
- Monday Dec. 9th from 19:00-?: USAPECS Early Career Social at the Golden Gate Tap Room.
- Tuesday Dec. 10th from 18:00-18:30: The AGU Cryosphere Reception (Marriott Marquis - Salon 8) will open for early career members (<10 year post-PhD). To participate in Early Career, Early Entry, you must RSVP to Lora Koenig by Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 8 pm Eastern/5 pm Pacific.
- Wednesday Dec. 11th from 13:00-14:00: Interested in joining USAPECS? Stop by the annual meeting to learn more (Hotel Nikko Monterrey II).
- Wednesday Dec. 11th from 19:30-21:00: Join the Arctic Research Community Reception with USAPECS members (Hotel Nikko Monterrey I,II).
Mentoring
The AGU CryoMentoring program is back! Volunteer to be a mentor or a mentee! You will be assigned a mentor/mentee before arriving at the Fall Meeting so you can meet at the #CryoCoffee area during the Monday morning coffee break outside Moscone 2006.
Volunteering
The Cryosphere section had 156 students sign up for the Fall Meeting Outstanding Student Paper Award competition & we still need a good number of judges. Please sign-up today!
Volunteer judges are also needed for the Flash Freeze: Student Innovation Competition at the AGU Fall Meeting. We have 22 students pitching their innovative ideas on Thursday, Dec. 12th, from 18:30-20:30 in the Marriott Marquis, Salon 3 Lower B2. Contact Ryan Webb to volunteer.
