Melissa Goodwin is a Project Manager for AGU’s Thriving Earth Exchange, responsible for developing and managing TEX community science projects that advance impactful solutions for challenges related to natural hazards, natural resources, and climate change. Melissa is also a Coordinator for the Resilience Dialogues.
Prior to joining AGU, Melissa worked as the Program Director of the Renewable Natural Resources Foundation. There, she was the lead staff member responsible for the development and implementation of programs that advance multi-disciplinary collaboration and policy solutions for critical environmental issues. She has a B.S. in Chemistry and Environmental Science from The College of William and Mary and an M.S. in Environmental Sciences and Policy with a focus in Energy and Climate Policy from Johns Hopkins University. Melissa was formerly a competitive ballroom dancer. Today, she enjoys traveling, do-it-yourself home improvement projects, and spoiling her dog, Dory.
