Dear Colleagues,
It is with broken hearts we must report that our cherished colleague Professor Thomas Meixner, Chair of the Department of Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences, was killed October 5th in his office at the University of Arizona. Dr. Meixner had generously and graciously served the community in countless ways, and was held in the highest of esteem. We are in shock at this terrible and senseless loss of this pillar of our community. We, the hydrology community, will miss him dearly, and mourn in with his family and friends.
