Hydro JEDI - Conference Committee

The Conference Committee plans JEDI-focused events and oversees the fulfillment of JEDI-related objectives at the AGU Fall Meeting, WaterSciCon, and relevant Chapman conferences. Our initiatives encompass hosting informational sessions for newcomers, formulating JEDI guidelines for session chairs, creating cover slides that address JEDI norms, and fostering connections with K-12 students. Moving forward, we are committed to sustaining these endeavors and continuing to foster a welcoming atmosphere at AGU conferences.

Committee Updates

• At the AGU Fall Meeting we hosted a new and new-ish networking session and panel discussion on how to navigate the conference.
• We produced code of conduct slides that were incorporated into the AGU Fall meeting
