The conveners of the Planetary Science and EPSP joint session "Aeolian Processes on Earth and Other Planetary Bodies" are hosting an informal aeolian mixer at "The Crown & Crow" bar from 6-8pm on Thursday December 12th

This is the evening before our oral and poster sessions, but follows the Robert Sharp Lecture "Climate expressed in aeolian landscapes" delivered by Andrew Gunn.

The venue is located just below street level at 1317 14th Street NW, about a 15-minute walk from the conference center. All aeolian enthusiasts and friends are very welcome to attend!

We have verified that the bar does also serve non-alcoholic beverages, and that it allows food purchased elsewhere to be brought in (note that the bar itself does not serve food). There are also a number of eateries just across the street, including a Ramen restaurant, Thai restaurant, Japanese restaurant, and a Popeyes.

For more information, please see our google doc here or email Chloe Daudon at daudon@caltech.edu

Hope to see many of you there!

Chloe Daudon, Colin Marvin, George McDonald, and Sarah Trimble.
