    Dear colleagues,

I hope that this message finds you well during this unprecedented time. As we navigate these coming weeks together, the EPSP programming committee is opening this space to support development of AGU session proposals and facilitate discussion.  We recognize that the Fall Meeting may be far from your minds at this moment (and fairly so) and that session proposals are not an immediate priority.

As of now, the Fall Meeting is still being planned, and in order to make the meeting as productive for our community as possible, we must submit session proposals on AGU's timeline (current due date: April 15). We hope that by the Fall Meeting, we will have come out on the other side of this challenging time, and that we are able to enjoy an invigorating and supportive week of EPSP science in December.  We encourage anyone with the time and mental bandwidth to consider putting forth a session proposal for the Fall Meeting - we are here to help!

The EPSP programming committee would like to use this discussion space to support the EPSP community as session proposals develop.

We aim to keep this space open to primarily:

    • Allow for questions and open exchange with the programming committee
    • Open exchange of ideas for session proposals
    • Connect those who are interested in co-organizing sessions with one another or those that are looking for help putting forth a session proposal

Programming committee members will be watching this space and are happy to answer questions or provide feedback through the session proposal submission deadline.

Session proposal submission opened on February 19, 2020 and will close on April 15, 2020.

    Be well,
    Claire
