Are you interested in convening an AGU Fall Meeting session for 2021 but you don't know how to do it? Or, are you planning to submit a session proposal and you would like an overview of the process? Or maybe it has been a while since you have convened a session and you need to refresh your memory? Then the
Education Section Leadership Team has new resources for you!
Available now in the
Education Section community library in AGU Connect are two narrated files to help walk you through various points about the sometimes-confusing process relating to convening a session for AGU Fall Meeting. There are two file types available,
MP4 video and
PowerPoint. Please go to the library, download the file type that works best for you, hit play (or play the slide show in PowerPoint), and turn up your audio volume to hear the narration.
The deadline for submitting a session proposal is April 14, 2021.If you have questions about convening a session, please ask! Send an email to your Education Section Fall Meeting Program Committee representatives, Sanlyn Buxner and Michelle Nichols, at FMPC_ED {at} agu {dot} org.
Also - Michelle and Sanlyn will host open "office hours" via Zoom in the week leading up to the session submission deadline in case you have questions about submitting a session proposal:
